Oh, how unfortunate for the inside gags.

Ok,So here is a clip from a show that Kman and I like to watch. The show is Ghost Adventures. What I love about this investigation they went on Nick, agreed to get into one of the morgue fridges to investigate.I know I would so want to do that.

 :D

Whats csazy is I did not like this show at first. Thier method of ghost hunting is unique, not recommended for amateures. However, the evidence they have gathered is very note-worthy. BTW, new episodes of Ghost Adventures begin in June on the Travel channel.

You seem to have many interesting ghost shows in the U.S. Unfortunately here in Germany we don't have a single one. I hope they'll buy the rights to show some episodes of these US shows here.

Talking about ghost shows. Has anyone ever heard of the infamous "Ghostwatch"? It was a special which aired on the BBC on Halloween 1992. They were telling the viewer that they were actually investigating a haunted house live on TV to see what happens. And in the course of this show they turned it into something "Exorcist meets Poltergeist" story STILL making the viewer believe this was actually happening live on TV!

The thing which made this show so infamous was the fact that many people believed in what they saw on TV that night. They were panicked. Deeply concerned.

They were using real hosts to present that show and in the end one of the hosts even got obsessed by demons. It was really over the top but as I said, many people didn't realize this was just set-up.

One person even commited suicide after watching the show. That's why they never aired it again on BBC.

Here are some imdb-infos (mostly receiving positive reviews)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0200659/

And here's a little summary of this great show I found on youtube:

You can find the whole show on youtube as well.

I never heard of Ghostwatch before, sounds like they went off the deep end..

I counted seven ghost shows here in the U.S. if you include Ghost Whisperer.
Ghost Whisperer is a scripted show, but they do come up with some good stories.

They're showing Ghost Whisperer here in Germany. Is it the series with Jennifer Love Hewitt?

I remember Ghost Watch...I remember watching it as it was aired. We went to the pub 3/4 of the way through and taped the rest. Yes, taped...I mean come on...it was the early 90s...it's a cynch we didn't have harddrives and DVD/Rs right? Anyway, we taped it...but watching it from the beginning seemed real. THIS is real...this is my GHOSTWATCH!

So how long did it take before you realized Ghostwatch was fake?

Towards the end if I recall. Long time ago now, but I remember it got 'too much' and I smelt a rat.

ARGH! A RAT!
Honey that's not a rat....
