Yeah you never know, but in this case, I have to doubt it. I mean, what would somebody have to gain by producing such a laborious hoax? And if you did all that work, you would want credit for it, right?

Normal guys would want credit for it, but sometimes a student's mind doesn't work on a normal base

In addition you'd have to be REALLY intelligent and know a lot of stuff about astronomy, encryption, codification and so on and so on.

I wouldn't call this message a hoax.

Even the decrypted message seems to be encrypted somehow. I don't know. The deceivers...our politicians?

I dont think our current politicians are "the deceivers". Obama has not made huge promises to make everything perfect, and I dont think Merckel has either, has she?

We should be very suspicious of anyone who claims to have all the answers..

And here's another thought. Perhaps this message was delivered from some future dimention, where their past is our future, therefore they have already seen what is going to happen.

"the conduit is closing" could have ment they didn't have time to give us full details.

Yes this is purely speculation. None of this can be proved OR disproved..

So the other question is: If there is some important message I want to communicate to mankind, no matter if I'm an alien being or a human being from the future, why should I use an encrypted message no one really understands and which only creates speculation?

If there is some serious warning, I'd make it a little more obvious.

Maybe "they" don't want to causs a mass hysteria and leave messages which can only be decrypted by very intelligent scientists which minimizes the chances of causing mass hysteria.

I agree with that. I'm sure they would want to avoid mass hysteria.
(I also think thats why our governments cover up alien visiters)
I also have to wonder if there's more to the message and nobody has deciphered it all yet.

But if "they" notice that we don't decipher it appropriately, they might leave a new message again.
