Mayfield does it for didactical reasons. He wants the German guy to learn a couple of new words :)

That probably did send you to your dictionary. I had to look it up first time I saw Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Egregious would be a word that you probably didn't learn in Germany in English class. You never hear it here, except in the movie "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" where you hear it about 20 times. Synonym might be untriumphant ;) . Now that word you will hear no place else except in that movie. I had to go to the dictionary for "didactic" Way to go, Ray. You guys do a much better job on foreign language than we do.

Haven't you guys seen those movies?
