I started my Burbs fandom here in 2008 and this is always the best Burbs site in my opinion. However there is very little traffic here so I focus on the Facebook Burbs fan page, there you'll find 10 posts a day.
 Plus the original board moderators 'Bonnie and Art' in this group are long gone even more years then me. I do see Ray our German friend still pops in , Hi Ray I hope all is good for you, and as for a long overdue explanation when I joined here in 2008 I was internet illiterate I didn't know to use a burbs type name so kennyman is what I typed for username, sorry bout that.
 Lets all enjoy The Burbs wherever our fandom takes us.

Hey kennyman, good to see you, bud. It's been a few years. Good to know that you're still with us, too. Yes I'm also still here. What shall I say, I love this street. Everything is fine for me, thanks. I hope the same goes for you.
 
When your logged in on facebook click the search bar and type in 'The Burbs is the best movie ever' You will easily find the group and I hope everyone here joins. No exaggeration there are at least 10 posts a day there.
 
Good to see you back kennyman! I joined the Facebook group some time ago. Cory Danzinger aka Dave Peterson posts there quite a bit!
 
Well, I'll stick with the Burbs forum.

I opted out of Facebook 2011 when they came with new data retention rules for their data mining. It was irritating enough with all the apps trying to circumvent the "block app" feature, by their relentless posts with "someone in farmville had a new pet and posted it on their photos" etc.

After that, I was like, nope - happy I did that, I really don't need to know when someone needs a bathroom break, have a baby, or showers us with 1000+ vacation photos.

Never looked back since, aaah...the peace.
 
I agree with JoOngle when it comes to Facebook, life is better without it imo. This board isn't the biggest but we like it that way, everyone knows everyone and nobody has to lock their doors at night :D
 
Unless we get another "Skip" in town who murders his family....Do we have a forum member named "Skip" yet? That would be freaky
