It may very well be a set-up on Belgian TV but it still makes me laugh.
 
I discovered this a couple of months ago and couldn't help laughing, too. Later I found out that it was indeed just a gag.

This made me afterwards collect a few links to funny news reporter mistakes. Like this one. I guess I never felt so sorry for one single person in my life:

boom goes the dinomite? hahaha is that guy related to the klopecks?
 
He explained it later on with his "Mario Kart" - gaming sessions. He somehow referred to Mario Kart. That's weird enough.
 
That sucking sound you heard was his sports announcer career going down the tubes. Did his teleprompter go out?
 
Maybe the telemprompter was too fast? Maybe he forgot his glasses? Maybe he was just nervous because grandma' was watching, too.
