Thomas Kinkade

Does anybody know Thomas Kinkade and his paintings? I think they are really beautiful and tranquilizing. Although some people call them cheesy or corny I think they have a certain magic charm.

Yep. First time I ever saw them was years ago on QVC Xmas special. At Christmastime I always use one of his pictures for wallpaper. At first I thought thought they looked as you say 'cheesey'. But actually I think they're great.

whats the 'opeartions thatre' picture that werner drew, the one that maek has so uch trouble with?

do you think it was a one off?
or an actual bit of art from an artist?

I have seen his stuff for years. I don't have any but I think they are fine.

Supposedly Werner's painting was originally from the old Night Gallery show, but I looked at a website a few years back that had all or most of those paintings and didn not see it. It probably just came with the frame.

they are really nice, especially the winter ones. i would not mind having them in my bedroom or livingroom.

I think his art is very well painted, he's got talent no doubt...but I think they are a bit cheesy. I wouldn't actually hang any in my house. It's just not really my style. I like some what bizarre, unique, art.
