Wow, he looks VERY garfield-ish (in a good sense).

A cat on the skateboard, this sounds like an typical 80's cartoon. :D
 
Some recipes for our typically 80's cartoon:

- The cat has to be able to talk
- The skateboard has special functions like enhanced speed, the ability to make big leaps and so on
- for some ludicrous reason the cat is coming from outer space
- the cat has a very vicious antagonist which wants to capture the cat all the time (not killing it since it's a child cartoon)
- the catchy intro theme music is made with lots of e-guitars
- the cat has some friends on his side, other animals which are also able to talk and fight for the good side
- Hasbro brings out overpriced toys to the show which still sell very well since the kids desperately want them
 
How many cat themed cartoons can we think of then?
