Just recently been to Transformers 4 and can only say: What a mess! I already didn't like part 2 and 3 and went into part 4 hoping Michael Bay would make it better this time but it even got worse. It actually started quite well and some of the scenes he shot in Texas looked extremely beautiful but then it started again, this explosion and action overkill. The weird thing is, I love action. I love people dodging away from things flying around, escaping explosions and mastering the most absurd situations.
However, this was a torture. The movie takes about 3 hours which includes the final hour of non stop robot fights. And just like in part 3 it got boring. I sat there watching just another explosion, another building crumbling down, another robot fighting another robot and thought: Damn, this is the most boring thing ever. Went there with two other guys and we all agreed at the end when the credits were rolling up it felt like a salvation.
