The movie that scaried me the most is without a doubt "The Ring".

I saw it in the cinema with a friend and we didn't know what to expect. It was maybe only 10 people in the whole cinema and it scaried us half to death.

Your personal experiences?

Damn just saw that we already had a topic about this...

I watched a documentary the other night called "Nightmares in Red, White and Blue: The evolution of the American Horror film" and Joe Dante is in it; actully quite a bit.

Not many movies in this world scares me. They either bore me or gore me, but they don't really scare me.

If I have to come up with a time I was really scared of a movie, enough to actually remember it as scary, it was an old Black & White Sci-Fi movie made in...behold....Norway - of all places.

Well...the original was in Black White anyway, guess it has been remastered.

It was really advanced for it's time, and really expensive gear like several thousand dollar spectrometers was used, the entire country's TV studio (NRK) was built like a futuristic TV station back then (think it was before 1978)...Became very popular, also in our neighbor countries.

Very scary movie back then, kind of like ALIENS. But Aliens was made in 1986, so..this one is *THE* original, albeit...Hollywood won't admit that.
