While we were shooting the sardine scene, producer Larry Brezner was chuckling "comedy gold!"

omg, he mentions The Watch. Forgot all about that movie. It came out in 2012 and features Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill and two other who I forget.

It was actually quite funny with a few neighbours doing a neighbourhood watch as some strange things start happening at night.

Haven't watched it since it came out, so it might be ripe for a re-watch.

Re-watched The Watch yesterday. It was a great rewatch. At one point there's a great overview of the street and it looks like Colonial street with 2 sidestreets, but when I looked it up The Watch wasn't filmed there.

Unlike the Burbs this doesn't take place on just their street but in their whole little quiet town.

While there's some sneaking about and peeking through neighbours windows there's not many similarities to the Burbs but it is a VERY funny movie. I laughed out loud more than once as they do a lot of improv acting.

I'd recommend this movie. I'd forgotten how good/funny it was.
