All diplomacy has failed...the Russian ships have broken the blockade...send in Ray P to the UN!

OR...how about making your way over there now Ray...the North Koreans have just let off another firework in their backyard...idiots.

Ray P. could persuade those Koreans to stop cooking all those cats over there..
Or is it dogs they prefer?

*pointing finger at Kim Jong Il's palace*

That Kim guy is crazy. They better keep a close eye on that one.

Dogs and cats. B******S! It's not necessarily that it's a dog or cat, as I know there is cultural diversity...some of us eat pork and cow which some other people never would. I don't at all like the idea of cats and dogs being eaten, but that's how I've been conditioned in the West. They are pets and friends to me not a food item. But I'm not so ignorant that I can't acknowledge other nations view them as food.

Have you ever seen how they 'prepare' their dogs and cats? THAT is the issue.

Cats are boiled alive. They are kept in cramped cages right there in the kitchen watching and hearing their kittens and fellow cats being boiled alive, squealing and writing in pain. The cats await their turn absolutely petrified. A noose is put around their neck in the cage and, frozen with fear, they are dragged out into the boiling water and the lid closed down.

And because the sick f***s believe that when an animal is in pain they produce adrenaline which 'makes the food tasty' (FFS!!!) they will torture the dogs before they kill them to be eaten. They will string them up and blow torch their fur etc.

You tube has many videos on cats in China. Check out PETA for their Hell In CHina video too.

Your right Art, some cultures feel about pigs and cows as we feel about cats and dogs.
But we do treat them humanely! PETA makes sure of that.

That reads like a nightmare. I don't want to sound racist now and I know you can't generalize a whole nation but I believe Chinese people are rather cold people. It's a cold society, no matter how much they're smiling.

It's not just the way they treat animals, it's also how they treat each other. Have you heard in the news about the guy who prodded the suicidal guy over the bridge just in order to get the traffic flowing again? That's just one of many examples. When an accident on the road happens, no one cares about you. They just run on, even if you're lying down on the road after a car has hit you (I've seen several vids on the net).

I concur. In my experience and my own observations, I think on balance, as a rule of thumb, they are a cold people. Their human and animal rights record is testimony to that.

Having said that, the local Chinese restaurant owners are a really lovely couple. But there's always exceptions.

Have you ever seen the documentaries on North Korea on You Tube? That's one f***** up place. Thank goodness I live here.

Yeah, that's really fucked up. Famine everywhere you go. Nonetheless is it a very interesting place as well. I'd like to know how the citizens there really feel. I mean, they're being indoctrinated and manipulated from the day they were born. Do they really believe the way they live is the perfect way and that their nation is a great one, if not the greatest? Or, when they're alone, do they sometimes wish to live in a free and democratic society?

Maybe *crunch*

Thing is...do they really have a choice?
