Who were the lucky ones that got to see this at the theatre?

What was it like?
Man, I would have loved to be around to see this one on the big screen. I never get tired of this movie.

I'm also dreaming of the privilege of sitting in a cinema and watching this on the big screen. Unfortunately I've only seen it on VHS and DVD.

Welcome to the board by the way.

Thanks, it's great to be here.

I was checking out some 20th Anniversary Edition thing on Fancore, where they interviewed some of the cast and the director to talk about the film. Great stuff, but me want more!!

It was great to see on the big screen!

We have a small cinema here in Nottingham. It's one of Quentin Tarantino's favourite cinemas actually, as it championed Reservoir Dogs when it was first released. Quentin has never forgotten that. In fact, the other day, my colleague Patrick went to see a film there and he said someone behind him was muttering all the way through. He looked round and saw...Quentin. Cool!
I digress...anyway, this cinema is really cool. Very small, not many seats, and they specialise in showing movies that aren't on at the main cinemas, or ones that aren't going to attract massive audiences. I am going to request they do a showing of the Burbs. For that would be cool. In fact, ice cold.

Do they take requests Art?
I'm gonna do a back yard screening this summer. Put up a big white sheet on the side of the shed and project it up there. Have some friends over for a evening viewing.

What about doing this on Burbs Day? It would be a perfect Burbs celebration. Go and fix the BBQ!

Please let us know about the outcome of your request. I wonder if they still have the old film reels available?

You come up with a winning idea RP. I will do just that. I'll get some photos also. Should be fun. Now if I can just talk the wife into it.
