Everyone has these guilty pleasure movies. Movies, you're not particularly proud of but you can't help liking them. They're not intelligent. They're not clever. They're not sophisticated. You will never be able to boast with the fact that you have seen this movie a dozen times and can quote it like a pro. But you like it. And will watch it again, no matter what the others say.

So which are your personal "guilty pleasure" movies?

I'll start with mine: Deep Rising by Stephen Sommers, the guy who also made "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns". In my opinion, entertainment to the maximum.

ok I will admit to mine since Ray P. was brave enough to go first,
its a movie called Good Burger, dont look it up. lol

Uh oh, that could in fact be The Burbs, as I´m fairly obsessed with that movie, despite the fact that VERY FEW people know this movie, in fact...even though I know quite a lot of people, no one of them that I remember...actually had heard about that movie before I showed them it´s existence. And I quote that movie all the time. And I consider the movie fairly intelligently directed as well as it have some absolutely AWESOME attention to detail, so I won´t call it unclever...as it´s very clever (at least to me).

But...I do have some other guilty pleasure movies:

The EXPLORERS:

Very tacky 80´s movie with dubious effects, and that starts like a wonderful Steven Spielberg movie, just to be replaced by very tacky and weird animatronics that looks like a Made-for-TV cheap-suit-animation movie, weird...but I still love it, especially the first half of the movie. (PS: The movie has been online on youtube for years, still not removed....abandonmovie?, so you can watch it...)

Another GEEK movie, would be SpaceBALLS:

Lamest trailer ever, the movie is actually much MUCH better.

My is without a doubt the movie Witness to the mob :)

The "Mafia" genre is huge and have some great great movies such as The Godfather, Casino, Goodfellas etc...

But i can't help loving this movie, love the actors, the story, everything.

All my friends are like "how can you like such a no name movie, low budget movie , it stinks" but I can't help it, the entertainment value is off the charts.

Besides the 'Burbs, Memento is a guilty pleasure movie for me. It's the most interesting flick I've ever seen and it's one of those movie that you cannot miss a minute of it or you'd be lost. I highly recomend it to everyone.

Memento shouldn't even qualify as a "guilty" pleasure, that movie is straight up bad ass!:)

Gotta agree on that one. Memento is a work of art. Guilty pleasures are...well movies you should usually be ashamed of liking them.
