Your theories on the green lights

I always wondered why nobody comments on Bonnie's appearance (besides Ricky), until I saw the original workprint version of the movie on the Scream Factory Blu Ray, & Art whistles at Bonnie while they are in Ray's garage looking at ray's new tools...

You also got a good look at Art eyeing Bonnie as he shoves the gum in while Ray shows him his new tool. Only then does he avert his gaze.
