Any movie that gives you the same feeling as The 'Burbs?

The 'burbs obviously. Um... quite a few actually.

The Goonies, Wayne's World, Lord of the Rings, Hot Fuzz, Home Alone, American Graffiti, The Breakfast Club.

They give me the most amazing feeling in the world when I'm watching them. I don't think I will ever get sick of these films, and some of them I watch multiple times a month. There is still a few I'm forgetting, but those are the main few.

That's great Uncle Ruben, I could also put The Breakfast Club to my "special feeling" list:) and I also forgot to mention Risky Business (a classic!)

I think it's something nostalgic with the 80's...

Althought Risky Business has a good story I could never put it on my list because I think Tom Cruise is a terrible actor.

For me, Tremors and The Burbs have always shared a certain quality. They are both sorta the horror comedy genre, like Shawn of the Dead.

I can't believe that you have Drop Dead Fred on your list. I LOVE DDF! It's one of my childhood favorites. I remember seeing it late one night, haven't seen it for years and I don't think I will (I want to keep the magic this movie gave me as a child).

Big trouble in little China and Fright Night are on my "childhood memories" list, great flicks, great memories...
