Speaking of Christmas, local stores have started putting up a few Christmas items already. Once Labor Day is over (US Holiday) this Monday there will be a lot of Christmas items appearing on shelves. Actually the wife and I bought a decoration last weekend, I know we are nuts. Have ya'll seen any items go up yet.<center><hr width="100%"/></center></blockquote></span>
Hmmmm well our local JTF Store (warehouse) sent out a flyer for fireworks (for 5th November). It's the start of the 'bers tomorrorow. I came up with this saying the 'bers (sept, oct, nov, dec) - they are the countdown for me. I've just been looking here for lights Http://www.lights4fun.co.uk/outdoor/christmas-lights/2cyy.asp
as I'm buying loads more this year. My outdoor stuff goes up in November. It starts the cul-de-sac (AKA Santa Clause Lane) with theirs. They always ask me around mid-November when I'm doing them LOL
Ive just been looking through a Christmas catalogue for stuff too. Got loads of events booked for Christmas and I basically have booked nearly all of December off work. Bring it on.
I was just contemplating fetching my Xmas DVDs down and putting them near the TV. I have to be careful though...cos my wife will catch me and say "Not yet!"<center><hr width="100%"/></center></blockquote></span>
How bizzare Art, I came up with the same 'ber month idea a few years ago. I remember saying to my wife one August, "hey honey it's almost time for the 'ber months". She didn't know what I was talking about until I explained it. I think that is funny that two Christmas nuts had the same idea and we live in different countries.
