Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson in one day!

Have you seen scenes from his rehearsal for his comeback tour? They were filmed two days before his death. His voice sounded as good as ever (if it was live, I'm not sure) and he was able to move very well.

I believe his comeback would have totally rocked!

Here are some scenes:

Bummer, they removed the video before I could watch it..

Re: opinons, views and perspectives.

That's what the judicial system is for. That's why he had the court case. To determine, based upon all the evidence, whether a crime had been committed.

Do you have the jury system in the UK as well, Art?

I don't know if you ever heard of the German system but there is no jury. The judge makes the decision and pronounces the sentence.

We have two (not including youth courts)

All crimes no matter what go first to the Magistrates Court. The Magistrates (3 Justices of the Peace and a clerk of the court) will hear the case, and determine whether it's summary offence or not too serious. If that's the case, the magistrates can pass sentence. They can give a maximum of 12 months imprisonment.

If it's more serious it will go to trial at Crown Court. here you will have a jury and a judge.

When I was doing my Criminology Degree I spent a lot of time at court, very interesting at Crown. The crown court can give much higher tarrifs when sentencing.

Our court systems are very similar Art.
RP, no jury? Really? Who rules over the judges to make sure their not corrupt? I'm sure there are gangsters in Germany who would try to bribe the judge.

A German judge is totally independent and is subordinate to no one but the German law itself. There is no control.

However, there are ways to force a second judge to reassess the verdict.

And Michael thought it would be nice to have a doctor in his house (*cuckoo, cuckoo*).

Bye bye Mr. Murray!
