Alright in this thread I may present you some German songs I like listening to. I guess most of them are quite unknown in foreign countries.

Well let's see if you like 'em or not.

I'll start with this one, in my opinion pretty catchy:

Wow! How 80s is that! Is it shot present day? Looking at the drum kit I'd say so.

That's extremely 80's isn't it? :D

No, it wasn't shot present day, this is as old as the song itself is. That means...1988! Jule Neigel's biggest hit.

I'm gonna post a few more German songs soon. Most of them are from the 80's.

...was released in cinema. And exactly in the same year when the Burbs was shot in Universal City. Long, long time ago...I can still remember...

So the next song is from 1989. A little more rock and a little less 80's elements.

Those are some good songs. RP, I'm also a Scorpions fan. I believe their from Germany, right?
Do they Rock you like a Hurricane?

Yup, they're from Germany. With their "Winds of Change" which is connected with the fall of the Berlin wall, they became known to a broader audience.

Does someone know Herbert Grönemeyer?

My favorite song from him (he has many great ones) is "Was soll das?"

You will not find many german guys who don't know this song by heart.

That was pretty cool. Good stuff.
