No long introduction to the topic, I'll start with my favorite guitar solo:

That's a long solo...classic though...

Hmmm any Van Halen or Alex Lifeson solo will do me. Though Jimmy Page does some pretty cool ones.

Motley Crue - Primal Scream
Ozzy Osbourne - No more tears
Firehouse - Home is where the heart is

Slash's solo is classic yeah.

Re: OZZY. Randy Rhodes' solo in Flyin' High Again...superb...

I also love the guitar solo in Eddie Money's "Two Tickets to Paradise". Always makes me playing the air guitar :D

Ray I can see you now...On your porch....air guitaring, having put away the pots of paint...

Guitar solo in Pink Floyd's Comfortable Numb is amazing!

Ray, do you actually play guitar?

The end solo of Stairway to Heaven. The one in "Since I've been Lovin' you" Zep 3. Any Jimmy Page solo. He gets little credit from those elitist bast.... at Rolling Stone and some of the other loser critics, but he kicks butt. I think he is the best guitarist ever - arguably.
