This thread is to say when we are watching The Burbs.Kennyman and I are getting ready to watch The Burbs now. 
He comes over here to smoke cigars,his wife won't let him,he doesn't know I know that.
I'm gonna do somthing productive.I'm gonna go watch 'The Burbs'.

But sometimes I even prefer watching an old VHS instead of a pimped up DVD version. It reminds me of...well, the old days
It's the same when people are still listening to the old discs instead of compact discs. You can't compare the quality, it's just about the feeling.

I can't agree more. I miss VCR.
I much preferred watching my video version than the super-clean DVD. I think it's 'atmosphere'. Okay, so the quality is more grainy, and there may be a tiny background hiss...But at least with video you can fast forward past all the WARNING COPYRIGHT crap. I watched something the other day and no kidding, there was the Copyright Warning, that video of someone downloading at home PIRACY IS A CRIME, Copyright Theft, then trailers and I could NOT get to the damn movie for about 5 minutes.
One of my fave movies is a black & white war movie called Ice Cold In Alex. I watched the video of this movie each and every friday for over a year. As soon as I replaced it with DVD.........I haven't watched it more than twice the past year.
You ever do that? You buy a DVD and it's nice to know you have it, but you never do? But if the movie came on TV you'd watch it? LOL

We actually ended up watching The Burbs twice.Our youngest has been sick,but she's feeling much better now.She of course keep needing her momma[that's what my kids call me].So I watched it a second time case I keep having to get up to take care Michelle.So when she finally fell asleep I got to watch The Burbs in it's entirety.

That's what my kids have always called me too.I seen the picture you put on myspace of your Mom holding you when you were a baby.You look like your Mama,like my girls look like me.But my son looks just like his dad Kennyman,but he acts like me,and the girls act like Kennyman.
