Movies that disappointed you

It really does have to be said. There's a real lacking of inspiration. Which isn't needed to be stated really, considering all the remakes! But come ON guys...... no budding Alfred Hitchcocks? NO geniuses out there with imaginative ideas? No creativity? Jeez!

All I can say is than God for the visionaries from the 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s then.

Okay there are some good new movies*

*this is a disclaimer for when someone says "Hey! Whoa! What about....." etc...

yeah i mean, why do they have to make remakes? and WHY would anyone want to make a remake of a good movie? I'd understand a remake of crappy movies, though.

and why cant they just open their eyes and realize that you can make a movie with a similar plot, without actually making a remake? GAWD. lol

Amen to that. I can understand remaking a bad movie that had the genesis of a good idea but failed to deliver, but why remake a really good movie. Move on to the next idea.

One artist I like is M. Night Shamalayan (geez, I hope I spelled his name right). He always has a twist or unique perspective.

Haven't seen Knocked Up. Really bad, eh?

Did see Rear Window on Turner the other day. Pretty darn good. Almost Burbish. 'Course, how can you go wrong with Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly and Alfred Hitchcock?

i saw the trailer for knocked up. blah. isn't that a sequel to !the 40 year old virgin"?? either way, the 40 year old virgin wasn't that bad. not liker hysterically funny, but good. way to long, though! gawd.

Good grief, they edited my message. I actually spelled Alfred's name correctly, just so you guys know.

Anyone wants a cocktail?

Let's lay down in the hay - cock.

Did you hear the cock-a-doodle-do?

What a beautiful cockchafer.

I guess he's telling a cock-and-bull story.

This is a gasoline cock.

The cock crows on the dung heap.

The 1998 remake of Psycho just p*ssed me off. It was just awful! Why would they remake a classic such as this when it's inevitable that it'll be reviewed negatively?

That and remakes such as....

House on Haunted Hill
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Hills Have Eyes (Ok... that one wasn't AWFUL but the original was better in my opinion.)

A recent movie that I was disappointed with has to be the Queen, starring Helen Mirren. I honestly expected much more from that movie.

Just saw "1408" recently.....crap..big surprise. Every Stephen King movie I've seen sucked. They always seem to have some writer go insane in them too.

Love John Cusack though..ooh lala
