Right, I believe it's not the problem that they're doing "worthy" films (since I enjoyed "Cast Away", "Saving Private Ryan", "The Terminal", "Forrest Gump"). The problem is that they kind of deny their cinematic roots. It seems to me that it was NOT displeasing for Tom Hanks to act in "silly" comedy movies in the 80's. This feeling must have developed in the course of time.
