Not quite sure where to post this...

Not looking forward to it.

But what shall we do? Bang the hell out of each other to get more children? I'm a student, I can't afford children and I don't know what the future brings.

I'm sure we'll all be fine - it could even be a change for the better, a turning point for humanity. Change isn't always bad. Wouldn't it be nice to enter a new human age of hope, peace, love and understanding.

No, seriously, you're absolutely right, Art. The end of the world has been predicted umpteen times now and it never happened. And it doesn't need to happen in 2012. Maybe in 2012 it will indeed be a time when mankind realizes that it went wrong for many reasons in the past decades.

I did write it with my ironic tongue firmly in my cheek - but also with a ray (p) of hope...
 
It might also be a combination of both: a huge catatstrophe and much life will perish. But on the other hand THIS event could be the trigger for a better future for those who survived.

Hm, it's all speculation. Let's see what happens. I'll certainly be watching The Burbs on December 20, 2012, that's for sure.
 
Gunna be an interesting day for sure....or not....hmmmmmmmm...should we buy Xmas presents?
