No, seriously, you're absolutely right, Art. The end of the world has been predicted umpteen times now and it never happened. And it doesn't need to happen in 2012. Maybe in 2012 it will indeed be a time when mankind realizes that it went wrong for many reasons in the past decades.

I did write it with my ironic tongue firmly in my cheek - but also with a ray (p) of hope...
It might also be a combination of both: a huge catatstrophe and much life will perish. But on the other hand THIS event could be the trigger for a better future for those who survived.
Hm, it's all speculation. Let's see what happens. I'll certainly be watching The Burbs on December 20, 2012, that's for sure.
