I am very sorry but uhm...this ain't no German word. PRUFTCHNIK what is that? Slavic?

In which context did you hear it?

Maybe you meant "PRÜFTECHNIK"? This could be translated to "Test Engineering".

Walter, I have your dog.
Yes that must be what I meant. The co. I work for just bought some fancy electronic equipment from Germany and that word is on all of it. The equipment tests our product and sets off a loud alarm (siren mode haha) when the machine needs adjusted.

The alarm makes us laugh because it sounds like circus music.

Run to me, run to water!
Alright, sounds like "Prüftechnik" is the word.

Circus music? Circus of Power?

Walter, I have your dog.
I mean clowns and ring master type circus music. Could this be some kind of German engineers joke?

Run to me, run to water!
I've, I've never seen that. I've never seen electronic equipment from Germany with the letters "Prüftechnik" on it and making some kind of circus music. I've never seen that.

Walter, I have your dog.
I can see the headlines now, "It was quiet electronic equipment from Germany, nobody ever suspected it of loud circus music." ..haha

I'll look for a manufacturers name tomorrow. Maybe i'll find ACME on it...haha
