One plot point that has always confused me

All interesting points gentlemen.
KMan. Genius idea that the real estate broad was an emissary for the Klopeks, that Art spoke to.

I've always believed it was Art BS'ing, but like HCT says, how else would he know the Klopek's name?

But no-one noticed a moving van. That's ridiculous on a street like Mayfield Place! Jeez, a dog having a dump at dawn is noticed. You'd think the Klopek's moving van would be spotted!

Hmmm.

Okay. Step by step now.

1. The real estate woman visits the Knapps and makes an offer on behalf of Werner.

2. She tries to gain sympathy with the Knapps by stating they were desperate to find somewhere quick as their house had burned down.

3. The Knapps reject the offer, as they're so attached to the house.

4. Art, being nosey, goes over and speaks to the real estate woman.

5. He finds out the 'Klopeks' want the house.

continue.....

6. Art takes it for granted that the sale is made, not knowing the Knapps said no.

7. Later on at the Klopeks "nice neighborly chat", Reuben lies about a moving van. Nobody noticed a moving van because there never was one.

Interesting theories (*flipping through demonology book*).

Still we're missing explanations for the "taking care of the mail" part, aren't we?

I believe your theory is correct. When walter was leaving for the hospital, Werner rushed over to offer assistance. With ulterior motives of course.

Werner: Is there anything I can do to help?
Walters daughter: Could you bring in dads mail for me?
Werner: Of course. I'll hold it untill he gets back.

I think the Barkalows are involved somehow. I'm still working on my halfc0cked theory though.

I'm only laying here with my eyes closed trying to get some goddamn sleep!
This is plausible Kman

Maybe the Barkalows were the real masterminds behind all this. Maybe Werner really was a "well respected pathologist" until the Barkalows brainwashed him into doing there dasterdly deeds for them. LOL Now there's a halfc0cked theory!...haha

LOL, this is halfc0cked 2 the max!
 :)

Here's something more plausible:

So the Barkelows were Freemasoners who were worshipping Satan. The elite of the freemasoners engaged them to develop new techniques of mind control. So the Barkelows developed the RFID chip. They somehow implemented those chips in the brains of 3 so far totally innocent citizens named Werner (a well-respected pathologist), Reuben (a warm-hearted and affectionate priest) and Hans (a succesfull and slick management consultant). They re-programmed their brains and turned them into murdering psychos.

With our heroes bringing the Klopeks to jail, the Barkelows gave up their plans to develop RFID chips and were kicked out of the brotherhood.

And so our heroes didn't just save the cul-de-sac, but also the whole world from being enslaved forever.

Walter, I have your dog.
RP comes up with a winning idea. This could make a good prequel to the Burbs.

One more thing I noticed today, why would Walter need anyone to take in his mail when he has a SLOT?? Doesn't a SLOT have the benefit of not getting overloaded when you are away?? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Yeah it's not plausible that the Klopek's would have been asked to pick up the mail. a) they were weird strangers 2) it was an emergency situation at night d) other more important things were happening and 4) it was only one night

"...we should sue them..."
Ok This website says that indeed the Klopeks were taking in the mail. See the 1st plot hole.

I just read this: ''After everyone leaves from visiting the Klopecks, the guys are talking back at Ray's house. Ray says that he found Walter's wig after the dog came up from the basement. But in that scene, you can see Ray tucking the wig into his shorts before the dog even appears.''

Huh? Did I miss something? Am I blind? When is Ray doing that?
Any new theories? ...,,, mail was being taken care of but not queenie.....lmao
