Overrated Movies

Yup unfortunately that one sucked although I'm a big Michael Bay fan (and after admitting that officially ostracized on that board :D )

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about U571 whereby Hollywood has totally re-written history for a whole generation of kids who actually believe America captured the enigma decoder...

U-571 (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Directed by Jonathan Mostow
Produced by Dino De Laurentiis

U-571
In the movie, a World War II German submarine is boarded in 1942 by disguised United States Navy submariners, seeking to capture its Enigma cipher machine.

The film's plot, though a work of fiction, is partly based on real events. It attracted criticism for two reasons: first, it was British personnel from HMS Bulldog who first captured a naval Enigma machine, from U-110 in the North Atlantic May 1941, before the United States entered the war.

Probably figured that if it was about the Brits it would not have sold. Sad, if true. Greatness cannot be defined by citizenship.

I think it's a serious point though. History is being re-written by popular culture. Soon these kids will know only distorted truth. And why? Good question.

Pretty soon it will have been the Iraqi Elite Republican Guard at Rorke's Drift.

To me the best part of Titanic was, when the ship finally sunk. The special effects were cool and Cameron was able to show his directional action skills.

I never understood the attraction people have to Titanic; the movie. What a feaking snooze fest.

But you would have enjoyed it if Steven Seagal drowned in the water after 15 minutes :)
