The Bush era is officially over. Barack Obama is now our president!
Did anybody watch the swearing-in ceremony?
 
No, I came home too late.

And hey, he's not MY president ;)

I'm curious: who here on this board is glad that it became Obama and not McCain?
 
I watched a few minutes of it.
 
My favorite was when Aretha Franklin sang
My Country Tis of Thee. :D
 
 Here's a interesting tidbit you all may have missed,
The Bush presidency officially ended at 12 noon, Obama was'nt sworn in untill 5 minutes after 12. So technically, for 5 minutes the USA had NO president!

Today the president was speaking of terrorists. He was quoted saying;
"the Taliban, El queada, the Klopeks, these people are clearly psychos."
 
The new pres. promised to take care of those psychos...
He should bury THEM in the backyard!
 
I'm glad that Obama has an eye on the neighborhood while we're away.
