Dang! So being in the US, I'll have to get a region 2 blu-ray player? I already have a region 2 player, but I can't remember if it's blu-ray or not.<center><hr width="100%"/></center></blockquote></span>

Yes you'll need a bluray player region B or a Region Free BluRay Player.

Some blu ray players can be made region free by pressing a specific series of buttons on the remote. Look up your model to see if it's possible. I have an older model here that I made multi region.

Maybe it didn't start out as a comedy?

Either way, it was a great read, Thanks Kris Klopek, and I'm glad they stuck with the ending in the movie.<center><hr width="100%"/></center></blockquote></span>

That's what I read somewhere. The initial version of the script wasn't meant to be funny, it was a satirical version of the "Rear Window" movie which was supposed to be reminiscent of "Rear Window", that's why they initially were calling the script "Bay Window".

It's hard to imagine The Burbs not being funny. Almost every single line amuses me in some way.

Nope :D

Sorry to bring up such an old post, but I was wondering if anyone has a link to the screenplay.

I can't find it anywhere online. Odd that it's so difficult to find.
