I fell asleep on the couch the other night and the wife woke me up then I dropped the "I'm just laying here with my eyes closed trying to get some !@#$ sleep" line.
 
LOL, and then she gave you the annoyed Carol Peterson look, right?
 
 It would be awesome if she said "SHHHH quiet,quiet, I wouldn't wake you if it wasn't important"
 
That would almost be too much of a good thing.
 
I missed out BIG time yesterday...

I was sledging with my wife and duaghter and a guy who I'd not seen for over ten years came by walking his dog. I went over and shook his hand without taking my glove off - OH MAN I later remembered I really should have said "Pardon my glove"
EPIC FAIL

 
Man you missed that moment in front of your daughter and everything. Your daughter!
 
Maybe you were just a little intimidated by his dog ... his size tends to overwhelm people
