The Last Burbsy Thing You Did/Said?

My (naughty little) puppy is now 16 weeks old. Anyone who knows anything about Border Collies will know they love to run, herd, chase, they are highly intelligent, mental, loyal and highly strung.

It's therefore been hard to keep her on a long leash. But tonight I walked her in my local woods at the bottom of my garden. As I unclipped her leash I said "Have a field day"

LOL felt good :) and she was as good as gold.

"...we should sue them..."
Was ya smoking a cigar too.lol

Border Collies are the best. That's what kind of dog I had when I was a kid. They are so pretty and smart!

 :D

He comes over here to smoke cigars, his wife won't let him,he doesn't know I know that.
Absolutely, Frisbee Dogs! When she's a bit older I'll get an Aerobie. She'd run all day. She's mental but soooooooo cool! So full of character.

Collies are frisbee dogs. But you should aslo teach her to fetch any femurs in the yard, that the neighbors have thrown over the fence.lol

So you were the one who took the dog for a walk last night and shut the door saying "I'm going to Banff, Canada!"

Walter, I have your dog.
I drop Burbs quotes all the time, mostly to my wife because it drives her nuts. Just this morning we we talking and she was telling me about someone at work (her name is Jannet Butler) and I said "oh Jannet Butler says" and the wife just rolled her eyes at me kinda like Carol does.

I'm only laying here with my eyes closed trying to get some goddamn sleep!
There are so many times in life that quotes from The Burbs are fitting, how can one not drop them...? :D

Just today NF told me some friends want to buy our old rabbit cage frome us. I said I dont want to sell it because "you know how us old folks are, we grow so attatched to things"...haha

Run to me, run to water!
Strangely I enjoy it when I know that I made an Burbs inside joke that only I understand. Puts a big smile on my face and the others go on as if nothing happened.

I understand that completely. Yesterday at work some guys were talking about a football game that we were missing so I asked "what time does the ballgame go on?" They didn't get the Burbs reference but it made me happy just to use the line.

Run to me, run to water!
hahahha kennyman, lovely! XD

well i quote it quite a lot, with my sister :D we just watched the movie again a week ago or so..

the other day though, i put a piece of gum in my pocket (unchewed haha) just cause my hands were full and i wanted it after a meal. so after i had eaten, and houurs later, i remembered it. and i thought about the quote "you had that in your trousers all dayy!?" hahaha

"no..no it's my note."
