In the meantime:

A huge asteroid filled with an army of evil reptilian beings is approaching earth. Their goal: to eliminate its population and gain control over the natural resources...

To be continued...

(Great cliffhanger, right?)

WRONG, We have already used up 90% of earths natural resources so it wouldn't be worth the trip for those asteroid riding alien bastards.

Unless your just joking, in that case, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Good one.

C'mon Mr. kennyman, IT WAS A JOKE!

Walter, I have your dog.
Have you seen the movie Mars Attacks? It was supposed to be a comedy, except it wasn't funny. In fact, it was the stupidest movie I've ever seen. That's NOT going to happen.

Run to me, run to water!
I haven't seen that movie. The trailer was so bad, it discouraged me to watch this movie.

Walter, I have your dog.
Me neither - it looked sh*t

"...we should sue them..."
Mars Attacks...NOT recommended!

Run to me, run to water!
OK people, we need to put aside our martial law and alien attack fantasys, the world has a REAL,SERIOUS problem. The Taliban is uprising in Pakistan and they have already taken over a whole providence over there. As you know,Pakistan has nuclear weapons. If the taliban gains control of them,we WILL see a major city destroyed, wiped off the map! Maybe it will be Munich, maybe London, maybe Washington D.C. who knows? The U.N. better get some forces over there and blow those bastards out, before it's to late!!

Run to me, run to water!
Why haven't I heard of this until now? The Pakistan military is strong, I think they will be able to defend those nuclear weapons. I don't know which danger the Taliban poses right now. Do you have an internet link?

I more concerned about all the nuclear stuff which vanished from the Russians. Also, there are numerous nuclear components missing from US soil. No one knows where these parts are. Maybe we'll indeed find out soon when the first Dirty Bomb explodes somewhere.

Walter, I have your dog.
Yeah the Taliban have been getting stronger for quite a while, but as regards controlling nuclear weapons I personally really don't think that will happen. Way before then will be intervention. No-one will let it happen. Least of all India. I actually question the use of the U.N. these days to be honest.

I think of more concern, since the Soviet Union disolved, 1 kiloton suitcase bombs are missing.

Also, the Soviets have many rusting nukes and the mental health of the isolated guards is also in doubt!

Yep, the world's a f*** up place alright. N Korea...Iran...Pakistan...Afghanistan...yada yada.

"...we should sue them..."
CNN is now reporting that the Taliban has agreed to leave the providence, and Pakistan is asserting their nukes are safe. Thats good news, but those militants are still out there somewhere, and they do not have good intentions!

Run to me, run to water!
I didn't know about these other issues. 100 suitcase nukes missing since 97, spent rods rusting away in the artic, where does it end?

Ahh to hell with it, I for damn sure will not live in fear or worry,
life's to short already, might as well live it up!! Enjoy

Run to me, run to water!
I refuse to worry any longer about it all. Had enough of it. I adopt a 'whatever' approach these days. I lived through the awful threat looming over us in the 80s. It seemed as a teenager everytime I turned on the news on the TV it was a worry whether some crisis would unfurl somewhere.

We had movies played like THREADS, THE DAY AFTER, DAMNATION ALLEY, ON THE BEACH, RED DAWN, the banned THE WAR GAME and THE WAY THE WIND BLOWS.

We had documentaries like QED

HORIZON

Even the music, Frankie Goes To Hollywood TWO TRIBES extended mixes...all about WWIII
Ultravox with 'All Fall Down' and 'Dancing With Tears In My Eyes', Enola Gay...ahhh endless.

I used to take a book to school, a big yellow one I remember it well, called PROTECT AND SURVIVE. I remember showing it to my teacher in 1982 and he dismissed it with a grin, as he knew all about nukes. I threw it away. No-one survives a nuclear war. Those that do, are unfortunate.
