there are very few films that I've even seen twice at the cinema. I saw Home Alone about 5 times when I was a kid, and that's probably my cinema record (I kept finding new friends and family who hadn't seen it that I could go with!).
Loved Home Alone when I was a kid. Yes, it must have been one of the movies I went to cinema twice which is very rare for me, too. The last time I went into a cinema twice was 2001 when "The Mummy Returns" came out. Damn, I still love this movie.

As long as you're not chanting, this shouldn't be a problem.
I wanna watch The Burbs all day, Burbs is good, Burbs is my pal.
Hey Kris, Kris, you're chanting. Once they get in here (points to head) it's over pal!

I'm scared to think what would happen if they started showing The Burbs in the cinema...Once I'd been in 30 or 40 times I'd have to start wearing a disguise...

I really can't tell you that, it's too embarrassing today.
Hmm...Will it also be too embarrassing tomorrow? Now I'm intrigued!
Uncle Rueban had a hilarious line in the workprint version of the film. It was something along the lines of "A lot of weirdos live here." I don't remember the exact line, but it was something to that effect.
Art: (to Ricky) Apparently, Skip made one too many lemon phosphates. (snaps his fingers) El snappo.
Ray: (as he walks up to Art and Ricky) I remember that. I remember... hearing about that when I was a kid. They, they... tore down the soda fountain that fall.
Art: Yeah, these towns are full of those kind of stories. Sometimes, they’re happening right under your nose.
Ricky: You know, speaking of noses, ever since this family moved to this block, I’ve been noticing a weird kind of odor. Kind of like death.
Ricky: Go for it, Mr. Peterson — yes! Ha-ha! Whoo! Good goin’, man!
I don't know if anyone of you guys got it like this? Maybe it's some kind of rare version of OCD or whatnot...
...but I often find my "inner words" in my head when I do things related to the Burbs, find myself saying quotes inside my head, kinda like answering a second-me sort of thing..
Such as If I ask myself where am I going at some odd hours...
...I find myself quickly answering that question with like "Yeah yeah, I'm going to Paris, France...what do you think I'm doing or going?"
(I don't have a dog to walk so...thats my version).

For me, it's not so much the inner monologue but more like quoting the film, even at work, for example. And when people look at me with a frown, I refer them to a film that's well worth seeing.
