Just sitting around the house, drinking a few hundred beers, and eventually I'll fix the barbecue (just kidding, about the barbecue...
)
Yesterday I removed the cucumber plants from my attached greenhouse, it's getting colder and they're dying. And the day before that, I was working in the yard...I have a yard to work. Bought a brand new branch Black & Decker GS2400 Garden Shredder, looking forward to clean up things in the yard and stuffing that machine. I'm not going to bang it with a stick, I'm going to SHRED the stick...I've never seen that.

Same here. Summer seems to have gone here in Germany and I'm not even wearing my bermuda shorts any more although it's just August. Just recently had a week off and am now back in duty.

You have a greenhouse? That sounds lovely! Good luck cleaning up your yard, and have fun with the garden shredder (new home improvement toys are always fun, in my experience).

Lucky both of you! It's still super duper hot here (it's going to be in the upper 90s-low 100s here until Friday, when it's scheduled to mercifully drop to 94 and rain). Autumn is my fave season, too, and to get my displaced Yankee heart into the seasonal spirit, I've been making a ton of pumpkin baked goods and intend to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks tomorrow. I refuse to let terrible weather ruin my autumnal spirit!
Other than that, I'm doing well! I'm pretty excited for the coming semester...it's the last one of my undergrad, and then I'm moving on to my (very likely K-6th grade) teacher certification. Exciting times!

And it's back. Yesterday we had a full blown sunny day, and 19-20c, today we're mostly cloudy but a very nice 20c nearly all day ...with the sun peaking in once in a while (enough to heat up my outdoor-indoor terrace/sort-of-greenhouse to heatwave levels).

And it's back. Yesterday we had a full blown sunny day, and 19-20c, today we're mostly cloudy but a very nice 20c nearly all day ...with the sun peaking in once in a while (enough to heat up my outdoor-indoor terrace/sort-of-greenhouse to heatwave levels).
Think I'm gonna grab a few hundred beers and dream of that barbecue...
