I always assumed that the Klopeks coerced or tortured the Knaps into signing over the real estate to them, forcing them to sign the papers needed to legalize the transaction, then killing them. They could have forced them to sign papers allowing them to keep the money of the transaction, or...

I saw this. I have it on DVD. I need to rewatch it soon. Maybe this weekend...? As I recall, it was slow to ramp up, but once it got going it was good, & started to get a little crazy & hard to believe towards the end... But overall, good. Worth a watch.

These ideas are pretty good. I wonder if a sequel to The 'Burbs that would make sense could take place up at the lake, with Ray & Carol taking Dave & the dog up there to finally relax, but ending up discovering some real nut cases up there..? What do you guys think?

Also, the little Dog (Queenie) also knlwn by her real name: Darla, was starring in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure as Dottie's dog: Pink Poodle, and can be seen together with Pee-Wee's dog, Speck in the bicycle basket at the end of the movie, on Dottie's bicycle at the drive-in movie.

Many know, but some may not know that Henry Gibson, Dr. W. Klopek has voiced many characters including Wilbur from Charlotte's Webb. Link below makes me laugh & lament the loss of one of my heroes. Just the fine line that gives me catharsis. Enjoy!?
