Any movie that gives you the same feeling as The 'Burbs?

Yes, it's really strange. But you've always been one of the major contributors to the board in general, very often bringing in some fresh breath of air. Hope we can revive the old days a little bit although I had to realise that it's indeed becoming more and more difficult to discover new Burbs-related topics to discuss.

In the meantime we have also gained some new true Burbanite members who made some very significant contributions to the board such as Pathologist or JoOngle.

Not that hard neighbor, last night - I had a run in with my neighbor that share a property line with my property, and he complained about my yard...

...he really burns my a**, he has the best lawn on the block, and you know why, because he trains his dog to crap in my....err ...wait...he's not got a dog...

Anyway, he complained about the branches that I had in a pile in my back yard, and threatened me with sanctions, man...that old fart, barks more than he bites I bet.

Well, I've got a secret weapon for him, I'm planting 64 thujas tomorrow, I've got no clue what they're called in English, but they're a hedge-plant, grows up to 6 meters tall, I bet that'll shut him up >)

we have many disputes with neighbours here due to Leylandii trees. Nightmare.

Don't forget to mix the zinnias in with the rest of the flowers.

Totally, I've got the most common Thuja variant of the Leyland trees, grows fast, thick and furious barriers between disputing neighbors, best way every to shut them up >)

They're so popular here in the Burbs that he was temporarily sold out...so I'm awaiting my next batch next week.

Planted 32 of them today, can't wait for them to finally become 4 meter long fort barrier between me and the 80 year old grumpy (our walter, he even LOOKS like him)...
