Kind of an old thread this, but reading my reports from it...I'd say it's high time to bring this thread an update from my neighborhood:
- Our "Klopeks" have moved back to their origins, their own country. I did get to meet them ONCE before they moved, and I said the same thing Ray said in the Burbs, it's a pity you couldn't stay, we where just getting to know you. (True story! This really happened about 3 months ago).
- Some politician and his kids have moved in, they've already bruised my new hedge and played on my property without my permission, so this will be interesting to say the least. I've however kept my cool, and greeted the new neighbor in a friendly courteous manner.
(Whispers to his hedge, grow my minions...GROW!)
- The crazy next door neighbor (with the Fighter dog, BOA constrictor, tattooed family and former drug addict) has totally PLANKED his entire yard - Aka FENCE galore, can you get enough fences already? You should have seen the yard, it's hilarious. First there's a fence around the entire front yard, then there are TWO fences between his front yard and his entrance, and PAST his entrance there is another but LARGE fence to cover his new terrace that have TWO fences, and not 2 meter behind it...is YET another fence towards my property
I kind of like that though, the more fences the merrier when it comes to his pets & kid. Sheeesh.
Gawd I love this neighborhood, never a boring day. And to think that this is actually the countryside burbs...

That's a lot of fences...Are you sure it's not a prison?
