It was years since I was in here last. Good solid walls still stand!

I don't know what happened to my avatar. I tried re-uploading it. But it's supposed to be this: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=35k62cl&s=9

And that site is going away. So...

But I was planning on making a music video for The 'Burbs and I finally did it. I mentioned it when I was here last time. Or sometime in the past when I was here. Well here is the final result:

I hope everyone likes it.

I will try to be around more often.

Welcome back!

Great video. It sort of reminded me of a sitcom opening with the music choice.

Welcome back, many of us are still here, too.

Your video is very nice, great song choice. I also had to think of an 80's sitcom intro when I watched it.

How great would that be "The Burbs - The series".

LOL I never thought of the song as a sitcom but I can see it. It's an old Weird Al Yankovich song and I'm sure it's around the time when The 'Burbs came out.

I had this idea in the back of my mind for some years now. Finally got it done.

I'm working on fixing my avatar. I heard tinypic is closing down and I don't want to sign up for photobucket. If I sent you the pic could you maybe incorporate it?

Ugh, it's been a hell of a week!

And yeah The 'Burbs as a series would be awesome. You have your cast of the neighbor people, the villains are the Klopeks who would be more like a Beetlejuice sort of villain and then you have the kids who are always ready and willing to be an audience for all the entertainment going on. There's even three dogs who can group together to dig up bones and hang out in the basement. Landru, Queenie and Vince. (I hope I'm getting their names right) and then a random pizza dude who always has these issues when anyone from Mayfield Place orders a pizza.

There's a wealth of situation comedy there.

I have another channel that's nothing but movie clips and I'm still putting stuff on there. I have a handful of The 'Burbs clips which I also put into its own playlist as well.

Greetings and welcome back! Like the video!

I have always thought a TV series just like the movie, stuck on the block, never leaving, would be awesome. You'd need to increase the neighbor count I think to give you more room for stories. Someone get on that!

Thanks you guys for the welcome backs.

Well I think a season of The 'Burbs - The Series (could call it Mayfield Place) would be a great idea but it would have to be set in that era and the way it was filmed, imo. My idea for it would be to show all the events that happened right before the movie, because the movie is sort of like the big conclusion.

The Klopeks had lived there for about a month or so, and in that time, there could have been some really hilarious things that went on before that fateful week/weekend.

Thanks for watching my video :)

BTW it really bugs me that I can't get an avatar. I tried uploading to something else https://imgur.com/6AFHYuh and it's still not working.

I went to photobucket and had to sign up for a free account and went to all that trouble and STILL no avatar will work! This is the wasted effort https://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r611/nunyabidnezz99/cp4burbs_zpshegsxvno.jpg

I had difficulties with the avatar as well. But I'm afraid, I'm no great help: In the end, I simply googled Burbs gifs and linked one of them to the profile.

I did try that, it didn't work. I tried the photobucket one too, and it didn't work. And there's no contact email for runboards that I can raise the issue to.

It's like they want to force a payment for it somehow. Like I'd have to "upgrade" my account in order to have an avatar and that's really crappy of them. :(

And they sure as hell don't have a way to just upload an image directly.

Hang on, As the biggest 'Burbs fan forum in this Galaxy, we've been able to get the attention of the runboard folks from time to time.

Let's see if Susa can help.
