GOD! The Shining is AWESOME.

one of my faves is a norweigan black and white called "De dødes tjern" (lake of the dead i think its called in english) it's pretty bad and "obviously fake" but seriously. i couldn't sleep after seeing it. LOL you guys need to see the subtitled norweigan version someday haha.

Silent Hill traumatized me. O_O

Oh, wait, is it called "Zombies Lake"?
It's sh*t, but good.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051569/

Lake of the Dead (Europe: English title) (literal title) (UK) (literal English title)
The Lake of the Damned (International: English title) (informal title)

one of the best part is that Norweigan were pretty amateurs when it came to filmmaking back in the days, and we didn't really have any moviestars (just theatrical people) and so.. it's pretty obvious. also, if you ever see this movie - "they're all just standing around". for reals. in a lot of norweigan movies, the men are standing next to their chairs when they talk together. LOL. i dunno why they do this. O_o;; and when they walk, they kinda slide.

i wonder if it's on DVD.

i like a lot yho thats the problem.

plague of the zombies
the burbs
return of the living dead
the evil dead
tcm's
NOES's
Hill have eyes (orig)
satanic rites of dracula
anthrophagus the beast
quatarmass

Oh most definitely Army of Darkness.

The burbs, of course.
Signs (or is that sci fi - pretty scary to me)
The Others (good twist on that one)
The killer shrews - so bad it is funny
The Frighteners
The Howling
and almost any old zombie movie (especially the ones where the zombies kinda shuffle along)

Killer Shrews LOL I had that in a boxed set of 50 Horror Films/ The shrews were dogs...LOL

Yeah, I laughed every time I saw them and when they were supposedly attacking the people you could tell they were just trying to jump up to them and play with them.
