The Burbs Blu Rays and Extras

I've pre-ordered the Arrow Steelbook. I'm pretty pumped for it. I hope they get some sort of interview with Tom Hanks but I'll understand if they don't.

Since I live in the US I'm somewhat concerned about getting the Region B Blu-Ray to play here. Might have to do some tinkering... or buy a region free player.

I'm going to go do something productive. I'm gonna go watch television.

I wonder why they aren't releasing it in the US? I mean, it was made there. Anyone know?

That's great news, thanks for sharing it. I can't wait to see exactly what we're going to get. I would love a commentary track with Joe Dante and Dana Olsen. Then maybe a second track with Corey Feldman and Courtney Gains. But now I'm just getting greedy.

I remember hearing someone say that the rights for these special editions are sold on a single country basis. So at some point a company in the US will probably make its own. But I'm not sure anyone else will do such a big job as Arrow here in the UK. They make incredible DVDs, with crazy amounts of special features. And when they make steel books, they also do an amazing job. I have their version of Big Trouble In Little China and it's beautiful (with hours and hours are extras).

I'm hoping foe something similar with The Burbs.

Somebody talked about 4 hours of extras.

And that may have been before the delay they announced due to even more extras being added!

We're coming closer to paradise, folks. We're coming closer. I'm really excited. And I just can't hide it.

About a 9 on the excitement scale there, Ray.

(I think this is the 20,000th post on this forum. Amazing!)

The other day I got the magazine that had the ad for The Burbs blu rays that are coming in August. I thought I'd post a picture of the ad, because the other one that I linked to in this thread wasn't very clear.
