You've had that in your trousers all day??

"Walter...the old man next door...we don't know where the hell he is"

*spills tea* LOL. The delivery was hilarious, I laugh and I die every time.

Next time you're watching the movie, focus on Hans when Ray spills the tea all over himself. His expression cracks me up.

This movie has the best one-liners ever.

"I thought his middle name was Louis?"

There is one line that I’ve never been able to understand. Its Ray runs out of his house to stop Art and Rumsfield from pouring garbage all over the street. Carol shouts "Ray, Ray come back here!" Ray replies while he is running, what does he say?

well done soldier *slaps RayP on the shoulder*

And I always thought, when Ray tried to use one of his credit cards to open the Klopek's backdoor and it broke, I thought Art said "Ah that's a sh1t story anyway" meaning that it's just a myth that credit cards can open a door that's bolted shut.

Apparently it's "Ah that's a sh1t STORE anyway" LOL!

Hi guys, I am a big Burbs fan from North East England (Newcastle) I remember very vividly as a 10 year old seeing the advert for this in the cinema and thinking it looked so awesome. I later went to watch it with my older sister and his boyfriend. The film was so good I couldn't wait for it to come out on video. My local offlicense had a small selection of videos and the Burbs was one of them, i rented it so many times with my best mate that after a couple of years the guy in the shop actually offered it to me to buy for a couple of pounds. I dont know how many times I have watched it probably a couple of hundred is no exaggeration. It was always more than a film, it represented a life away from our lives in northern england, some place we wanted to live when we grew up to be adults! We haven't lived the dream but we have grown to love the Burbs it's a community we would have loved to live in and by virtue of watching the movie so many times we kind of put ourselves there, picked a house to live in on the close! Blessings P
